How to do if hibiscus does not bloom

Fusang, named for its mulberry-like leaves, is a popular plant among flower lovers. However, some gardeners who have been growing potted Fusang for over three years may find that it fails to bloom. Why does this happen? As you observe the plant's growth, you might notice thick foliage and dark green leaves, which seem healthy at first glance. But this lush growth often indicates excessive fertilizer use, leading to long, leggy branches. When the plant focuses too much on vegetative growth, it neglects reproductive growth, causing the flower buds to remain dormant and fail to open. To address this issue, we took several steps. First, we removed one-third of the soil from the pot and replaced it with fresh, nutrient-balanced soil. Then, we carefully cut the rhizome with a knife to expose the white pulp inside. This process temporarily restricts the plant’s ability to absorb water from the soil, helping to slow down vegetative growth and encourage flowering instead. After these adjustments, we placed the plant in a sunny and well-ventilated area. Within just half a month, three flowers began to bloom, and more followed in the days after. Although Fusang enjoys consistent moisture, it's important not to overwater it. The key is to keep the soil moist but not soggy, ensuring the roots get enough oxygen while still receiving sufficient hydration. By balancing care and pruning, even a stubborn Fusang can be coaxed into blooming beautifully.

Vitamins & Minerals

Vitamin is a kind of trace organic substance that humans and animals must obtain from food in order to maintain normal physiological functions. It plays an important role in the process of human growth, metabolism and development. Vitamins in the body neither participate in the formation of human cells, nor provide energy for the body.

Scientific studies have found that at least 30 different compounds are considered "Vitamins", of which more than 20 vitamins are known to be necessary for biological health.
