(a) Technical content

1. Mechanical picking + straw comminution mode. Including mechanical picking → ear transport header → straw crushing and returning to the field of three major continuous operations.

2. Mechanical corn peeling + straw comminution mode. Including mechanical picking → ear delivery peeling → ear nesting → straw comminution to the field of four major continuous operations.

3. Threshing + straw comminution mode. Including corn harvesting→feeding→threshing→clearing→collecting grain→stalk crushing and returning to the field for six major continuous operations.

4. Ear and stem doubling mode. Including mechanical picking → ear transport header → straw chopping → straw collection four major continuous operation links.

5. Corn silage model. Including mechanical harvest straw (which can include ear) → smash → transfer header box three major continuous operation links.

6. Corn stalk harvesting mode. Including manual picking + straw harvesting and direct harvesting with spikes.

(II) Technical Requirements

1. Agronomic preparation

(1) The best harvest period for corn for food use. The ripening period is the best harvest period for corn. The two cropping areas in one year should be harvested as late as possible, and should be harvested when the loquat leaves are dry and the grains harden. It is advisable to harvest corn timely and lately. The annual harvest time for the region should not be too late. It should be harvested before the corn ear dangles.

(2) At the same time, the ear buds are best harvested during silage. Silage at the same time as the ear and ear is suitable for the harvest from the end of milk ripening to wax ripening. Grain and feeding corn should be harvested at the late stage of waxing.

(3) When using a corn combine harvester that is not able to open its own way, it should be manually cut out 1 to 2 days before; in case of a plot that cannot be taken out of the ground, the plot should be manually cut out.

2. Machine preparation

(1) According to the land size, planting spacing and operational quality requirements, choose the appropriate combine harvester and silage harvester model. Straw returning machinery uses products such as machete type, straight knife type and hoe-cut type straw smashing performance as much as possible to ensure the quality of work.

(2) Before the operation, it is necessary to fully adjust and install the implement to ensure stable operation of all components. Harvesting can only be done after reaching the agronomical requirements.

(3) The corn combine harvester should properly adjust the gap between the picking roller (or spike pan) according to the corn yield, row spacing, and spike height, check the tightness of the chain belt, tighten all the screws, and properly adjust the straw return. The working height of the machine ensures that the remaining height is suitable for local agronomic requirements.

3. Work requirements

(1) Maize planting spacing should be consistent with the required row spacing of corn combine harvester, deviation of row spacing is 5cm; maize crest height is ≥35cm, corn lodging degree is <5%, and fruit drooping rate is <15%; corn threshing combines harvesting, requirements Corn grain moisture content ≤23%.

(2) Maize ear harvesting quality requirements. The grain loss rate is ≤ 2%, the ear loss rate is ≤ 3%, the grain breakage rate is ≤ 1%, the ear's impurity rate is ≤ 5%, and the net non-stripping leaf rate is ≤ 15%.

(3) The quality of corn stalk return operation shall be carried out according to the requirements of "Mechanization Technology of Straw Returning Field".

(4) Operation requirements for corn silage harvester. Straw moisture content ≥ 65%, straw chopped length ≤ 3 cm, chopped qualified rate ≥ 85%, cutting height ≤ 15cm, harvesting loss rate ≤ 5%.

(5) Requirements for harvesting corn stalks. Corn stalks harvest requirements of natural height of 150 cm ~ 280 cm, straw moisture content of 55% to 75%, the corn lodging angle is less than 50, cutting height ≤ 15cm.

(III) Precautions

1. During the operation, pay attention to harvesting as much as possible. According to the height of the ear and the leveling of the surface, adjust the height of the cutting table at any time to ensure the harvest quality.

2. Pay attention to observe the engine power condition, master the forward speed of the unit, and reduce the speed when the load is too large.

3. Pay attention to the fluency of the spike lifting process so as to avoid jamming and blockage; observe the full extent of the ear box at any time, and unload the cart in time so as to avoid jamming after overflowing or unloading the food.

4. In all harvesting machinery operations, no matter how fast you are walking, you must select a large throttle to ensure the quality of your work; no backwards are allowed in the operation; you need to upgrade the straw returning machine when turning.

5. Ditches and ridges in the plots should be levelled, and signs and safety operations should be done in advance for unobvious obstacles such as wells and poles.
