Today is shaping up to be one of those days where everything feels like it's moving at once, but in the best possible way. I woke up early, or maybe not early enough—let’s just say I'm running on coffee and hope. My head is buzzing with plans, thoughts, and a little bit of chaos, but isn’t that the story of life sometimes?
Right now, I’m juggling a million things. For starters, I’m super excited because today marks 27 weeks into this pregnancy. Feels surreal, honestly. It’s hard to believe how quickly time is flying by. At the same time, I find myself contemplating all the things left to do before baby arrives. The list feels endless, yet oddly motivating. There’s something about knowing there’s work ahead that keeps me pushing forward.
On the brighter side, I’ve got so many good vibes going on right now. Last night, I spent some quality time in the kitchen whipping up a massive batch of cinnamon rolls. They’re sitting there, waiting to greet our guests tonight. Cinnamon rolls are always a crowd-pleaser, aren’t they? And I can’t wait to share them with everyone who comes over. It’s going to be such a cozy evening filled with laughter, warmth, and maybe even a few leftover rolls for breakfast tomorrow.
Speaking of coziness, Aliyah had her second round of swim lessons recently, and she absolutely adored them. Watching her conquer each challenge was incredible. She’s learning so much, and it fills my heart with pride. On top of that, my little girl has settled beautifully into her new room and big bed. Even though Dolce doesn’t stick around for long, Aliyah seems content, and that brings me immense peace.
As for my husband, I couldn’t be prouder of him lately. Together, we’ve been experimenting in the kitchen, creating delicious, healthy meals that make me smile every time we sit down to eat. He’s also started documenting his culinary adventures—a new project that excites me because it shows how committed he is to making our home healthier and happier.
But let’s talk about the less glamorous parts of life too. Today, I’m trying to squeeze in some extra rest. Between cleaning, laundry, cooking, editing photos, and chasing after kids, it’s easy to burn out. I know I won’t get everything done, but I’m trying my best to prioritize self-care. After all, a tired momma can’t take care of anyone else properly.
Oh, and speaking of photos, tonight I’ll be posting my 27-week maternity picture to the series I’ve been sharing. It’s funny how these milestones feel both monumental and fleeting at the same time.
Finally, as I sit here typing this, I find myself hoping you all have a fantastic day ahead. May your moments be filled with joy, connection, and small victories, no matter how tiny they might seem. Life is better when shared, so here’s to connecting with you all and wishing you blessings wherever you go.
P.S. I wish I could attach pictures of everything I mentioned, but alas, I’m still working on getting those images uploaded. Until then, imagine warm cinnamon rolls, happy kiddos, and glowing smiles. That’s what today feels like to me.
Until next time,
