The reasons for the burnt phenomenon of corn that has been dried by the grain dryer are as follows:

1. The grain dryer is shut down for a long time but does not stop heating.

If the grain dryer is shut down for a long time, but the heating is not stopped, the material in the machine carries a large amount of heat and cannot flow, and the middle heat is not emitted, which may cause local overheating. In addition, due to the high temperature in the hot air furnace, a small amount of gas will enter through the hot air duct. These gases will heat up quickly after passing through the heat exchanger with high temperature. The high temperature hot gas enters the grain dryer and will also cause local corn in the machine. Overheating and reaching the ignition point. Therefore, in this case, the material should be discharged first, and when the material in the upper storage section of the body begins to go down uniformly, the hot air blower is turned on to start drying.

2. Unqualified installation of grain dryer leads to hot air short circuit

Whether it is a mixed-flow, counter-current or cross-flow grain dryer, if the installation is unqualified, there will be a running wind phenomenon, then the hot air passing through it will be much more than the normal place, and the nearby materials will be over-dried. To a certain extent, it will be paste or catch fire.

3. The material inside the grain dryer is poorly circulated or blocked.

The drying system of the grain dryer is a closed space. During the work, we can't observe the inside, which is easy to cause the accumulation of materials inside the machine. The body of the grain dryer is a container, and the material enters from the top of the machine. Due to the self-flow of the material in the machine body, the material is too light and the particle size is generally larger than the material, which is easy to block and block, resulting in local material in the body. Overheating, so cleaning up the material before entering the body is very important. If the discharge machine of the grain dryer is faulty, the discharge in the machine will be uneven. The old grain dryer is equipped with a vibration discharge mechanism. There are many funnels on the vibration plate. Material, must be checked frequently; now the grain dryer uses six impellers to force the discharge on the cross section of the cylinder, but due to long-term use, the deformation or improper installation of the dip plate makes the gap between the dip plate and the six impeller too large. It will cause the material flow rate in the machine body to be uneven, resulting in uneven material moisture, which will lead to paste or fire.

4. There is no insulation layer or insulation layer in the hot air duct

The grain dryer generally has one or more hot air ducts. One side of the hot air duct is corn, and the other side is hot air. There is only one layer of steel plate of 2 to 2.5 mm in the middle. If the hot air duct is not insulated by the hot air side, The steel plate is under the baking of high temperature hot air for a long time, the temperature is close to the hot air temperature, and the material in contact with it will gelatinize for a long time, and it may even catch fire for a long time.

5. The hot air temperature is too high or the heat exchanger has a fire phenomenon

If there is a paste or fire, check whether the heat exchanger of the grain dryer is running. The fire is generally caused by the fact that the flue gas and the clean hot air are not sealed during the installation or the heat exchanger is used for a long time, causing the pipe to rupture. It can be found by inspection of the hot air line or by drilling a hole in the hot air line. There are several reasons for the high hot air temperature: 1 operation error, the hot air temperature is too high; 2 hot air temperature measurement thermocouple and temperature measurement instrument will be out of alignment for a period of time, resulting in the displayed hot air temperature does not match the actual hot air temperature. It is good to check the temperature measuring component with a thermometer every year; 3 in the drying process using positive pressure blast, the temperature measuring thermocouple is not installed correctly, resulting in the measured temperature is not the average temperature in the air duct, lower than the average temperature, this This situation is usually found when the device is debugged. 4 If the hot air blower fails or the air damper is closed due to vibration, the hot air temperature will be too high.
