There are four taboos for winter pesticides

Farmers can store unused pesticides for use in the next season, but without proper knowledge, these chemicals can harm humans and animals. To ensure safe storage during winter, there are four important rules to follow: First, never store pesticides without checking their labels. Always make sure the bottle is properly labeled with the correct name of the chemical. If the label is damaged or missing, write it on a piece of paper and attach it to the container. Also, always secure the bottle cap tightly to prevent leaks or evaporation. Second, avoid mixing pesticides with fertilizers. For example, ammonium bicarbonate can decompose when mixed with certain pesticides, and ammonium sulfate may even explode when combined with some formulations. Mixing them can cause harmful reactions, so it's best to store them separately. Third, never store fertilizers and pesticides together. Fertilizers can release toxic fumes, pollute the air, and potentially cause poisoning. Also, keep them away from livestock areas, as they can harm both animals and birds. Fourth, don’t store pesticides in improper locations. Pesticides should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Store them on elevated shelves, at least half a meter away from walls to allow for good ventilation. Cover them with straw or cotton wool to protect from moisture. Make sure they are out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion. Proper storage isn't just about convenience—it’s about safety. Taking these precautions can help protect your family, your animals, and the environment. Don’t underestimate the risks; always handle and store pesticides with care.

Adipic Acid

Adipic acid is mainly used in producing nylon fiber and engineering plastics, and polyurethane in quantity. Most of parts are used to produce PU, liquid for sole, polyurethane foam, etc. A small number of them are used for high quality lubricating oil.

High quality ester of adipic acid can be used as PVC and its copolymer, plasticizer of natural synthetic rubber. A large number of adipic acid ester is used to produce food packaging, thin film and PVC for insulation.

Adipic acid is also used for sour agent of food and drink. It is not easy to deliquesce, so it is used in dry food, and can be kept in a long time.
