The basic technology of formula fertilization - nutrient balance method

The soil nutrient value was used to calculate the amount of soil fertilizer, and the fertilizer demand was calculated according to the following formula:

Fertilizer Demand = (crop unit yield nutrient absorption target yield - soil nutrient measurement 0.15 correction factor)

Fertilizer nutrient content (%) fertilizer utilization in the season (%)

In the formula: crop unit yield nutrient absorption target output = crop absorption nutrient content.

Soil nutrient measurement 0.15 Correction factor = soil fertilizer supply.

The measured value of soil nutrients was expressed in mg/kg, and 0.15 was the coefficient of soil nutrient determination converted to 667 m 2 soil nutrient content. In other words, a layer of 0 to 20 cm thick soil is generally considered as a plant nutrient layer, and each layer of 667 m2 has a soil weight of 150,000 kg. The method for calculating the soil nutrient content converted to the soil layer per 667 m 2 of the soil measurement value is:

150000 (kilometer soil) 1/1000000=0.15

Correction factor: Represents the correlation between soil measurements and crop yield.

Correction coefficient = blank area yield crop unit yield absorption nutrient

Soil measured value 0.15

For example, the target yield per 667 m 2 of a farmer's peanut field is 300 kg, the available nitrogen content is 60 mg/kg, the available phosphorus content is 30 mg/kg, and the available potassium content is 90 mg/kg. .

The amount of fertilizer needed is:

Peanut absorption nutrient (nitrogen) amount = 0.068 (need of nitrogen per kilogram of peanut) 300 = 20.4 (kg)

Soil fertilizer supply = 600.150.55 (correction factor) = 4.95 (kg)

Substituting the formula into urea is: (20.4-4.95)/(0.460.50)=67.2 kg

Since 60% of the nitrogen source of peanut comes from its nodule nitrogen fixation, the actual amount of nitrogen applied can be calculated as 40%, that is, 26.87 kg of urea can be applied per 667 m2.

Similarly, the required phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can be obtained. The advantages and concepts of the method are clear and easy to grasp; the disadvantage is that the measured value of the soil is a relative quantity, because the soil nutrients are in dynamic balance, but also through the test to obtain the correction coefficient to adjust, and the correction coefficient is highly variable and difficult to be accurate.
