Characteristics: This variety is a medium to late maturing type, ideal for processing into crispy potato chips. It has a growth period of approximately 115 days. The plant height is around 59 cm, with an upright growth habit, strong vigor, few branches, lush foliage, green stems and leaves, purple flowers, and weak natural lodging resistance. The tubers are round, with white skin and flesh, and shallow eyes. On average, each plant produces 4.3 tubers, with an average weight of 137.5 grams. The commercial tuber rate reaches 84.7%. Under artificial inoculation, it shows resistance to Potato Virus X and Y, and high resistance to late blight, although some field cases of late blight were observed. In terms of quality, the starch content is 12.8%, dry matter content is 23.2%, reducing sugar is 0.30%, crude protein is 2.38%, and vitamin C content is 16.9 mg/100g fresh weight.

Yield Performance: Participated in the Northwest Group regional trial from 2007 to 2008, with an average yield of 1741.9 kg per mu, which was 18% higher than the control variety Shushu No. 3. In the 2008 production trial, the yield reached 1484.0 kg per mu, showing a 3.6% increase over the control variety Yamshu-3.

Cultivation Techniques: 1. Prepare the land before sowing and apply base fertilizer. 2. Sow high-quality virus-free seed potatoes in mid-April. 3. Plant at a density of 4,000 plants per mu in wetland areas and 4,500 in dryland. 4. After seedlings emerge, perform weeding, cultivation, timely irrigation, fertilization, and hilling up before flowering. 5. Implement early prevention measures against late blight to ensure healthy growth.
