I believe we all have the experience of visiting the supermarket in peacetime or at weekends. Nanjing supermarkets such as: Jin Runfa, Carrefour, Qantao and Huarun Suguo. At the weekends, these large-scale supermarkets will have a wave of sales and buying. Just before the supermarket opened every morning, some supermarkets also promoted eggs. I was deeply impressed by the retired uncle and grandfather. They had a long queue at the supermarket door waiting to buy something. At the beginning, I was still wondering, this early morning, Grandpa and Aunt did not rest at home, why did they run this supermarket door? After listening to the "experienced" grandmother, it was because some supermarkets engaged in egg promotion in the morning. During the promotion period, the price was cheaper than usual. After that promotion period, the supermarket would restore the original price. So I know the reason, but is it really necessary to promote the product to buy it?

In fact, the promotion of products inside the supermarket is to be found, take the yogurt I usually buy, for example, usually a bottle of 2L bright plain yogurt to sell to 19.9 yuan, when the supermarket engages in promotions may be only 14.9 yuan In addition, two bottles of yoghurt or small cups and spoons are also presented. There are a lot of consumers who are fancy with the products that come with yogurt, and I sometimes like to buy yogurt that gives them something. After buying it back, you will find that the yoghurt is faster than the shelf life, and suddenly feel more depressed. Once I bought a large bottle of fruit and put it in the fridge, I forgot it. When I discovered it had expired for a month, so I had to throw it away.

There may be many people who know that food has expired and cannot be eaten. But if each of us spends a lot of money buying foods that have expired, when we find that foods are out of date, we only have a shelf life of one or two days. Will we still choose to throw them away? Maybe a lot of people will feel that it's a pity to give up. In a suspicious and dilemma of food, they just blame themselves for not knowing the expiration date. In fact, we carefully and sensibly analyze that there are certainly reasons for merchants to cut prices for food promotions. Many businesses sell fast-overdue foods, use mixed sales, bundles, and collocations, and even illegal manufacturers change production dates. It is these business promotions that have caused many of us to buy back quickly expired food.

The Municipal Bureau of Industry and Commerce promulgated the “Regarding the Enduring Shelf-Period Food Marketing Area System” to promote the confinement of foods that are adjacent to their shelf-life to special zone sales. This system is to encourage businesses to sell goods in good faith, but also to remind consumers to pay attention, so it can also improve the credibility of businesses; customers clearly understand the white food, improve food quality and safety awareness, is a good move. According to reports, at present, more than 130 supermarkets in Beijing have set up a “food marketing area near the expiration date”, which is a good start.

However, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Commerce also stated that the current requirement for supermarkets is voluntary, and that businesses with good results can choose to retain them for a long time. Looking at this attitude, I think that this system, which is approaching an expired food zone, is difficult to implement.
