Use sericulture scraps to feed pigs

The leftovers of sericulture mainly include silkworm sand and remaining mulberry leaves. The nutritional value of silkworm sand is relatively high, including crude protein 15.4%, crude fat 2.6%, crude fiber 19.6%, soluble nitrogen-free 36.2%. The remaining mulberry leaves also have high nutritional value, containing 17% of crude protein, 4% of crude fat, 22.9% of crude fiber, and 50% of soluble nitrogen-free substances. The silkworm sand and the remaining mulberry leaves are combined with other feeds to feed pigs. Each weight gain of 100 kg of pigs can reduce the consumption of 17.5-20 kg. To feed pigs with sericulture scraps, we must first do a good job of collecting silkworm sand and remaining mulberry leaves. The collected silkworm sand should be sun dried or dried in a place away from the mulberry garden and the silkworm room. If there is lime in it, sieve the lime powder with a fine sieve. For the remaining mulberry leaves collected, use a knife to chop and air dry. After silkworm sand and remaining mulberry leaves are dried or air dried, they should be packed in plastic bags and put in a dry place for use. When feeding pigs with silkworm sand and remaining mulberry leaves, it is necessary to match the weight of the pigs. For 20-30 kg of pigs, use corn 15%, wheat bran 11.5%, rice bran 14%, silkworm sand 10%, remaining mulberry leaf 7.5%, sweet potato dry 8%, straw powder or sweet potato vine powder 14%, rapeseed cake 10%, pea 4.5%, blood meal 2%, fish meal 2%, bone meal 1.2%, salt 0.3%. For pigs weighing 40-90 kilograms, the silkworm sand and remaining mulberry leaves may be appropriately increased, and 15% of silkworm sand, 10% of remaining mulberry leaves, 17% of corn, 13% of wheat bran, 5% of broken rice, straw powder, or sweet potato vine Powder 21%, rapeseed cake 10%, rice bran 5%, blood meal 1.5%, fish meal 1%, calcium hydrogen phosphate 1%, salt 0.5%. In addition, add 10 grams of multivitamins, 27.36 grams of ferrous sulfate, and 15 grams of copper sulfate per 100 kilograms of feed. According to the practice of some sericulture households using feedstuffs to feed pigs, each raising of silkworm eggs can produce 300-350 kilograms of waste, which can replace 60-70 kilograms of concentrate feed to pigs.
