(2) Change oil. Unscrew the oil hole screws in the seal chamber and the motor to release all the oil in the sealed chamber and the motor and replace the new oil.
(3) Ensure the seal. When replacing the oil in the sealed chamber, if the oil is found to be cloudy and the water content exceeds 50 mL, the dynamic and static seal rings or the seal box must be replaced, or the entire unit must be replaced.
(4) Drying. For motor windings with insulation resistance less than 0.5mΩ, they must be dried and dried in the same way as a general motor. If the whole or sealed box is not replaced, only the stator part of the electric pump can be removed. Under normal circumstances, the whole or sealed box part should not be disassembled as far as possible. If it is necessary to dismantle, O-shaped rubber seal ring must be replaced with new one.
(5) Check the bearings. Check the upper and lower bearings of the motor section. If excessive wear or clearance is found, replace the new one with a new one.
(6) Make sure that the parts are not rusted. Before use, the uppermost pump casing shall be disassembled, and then the impeller shall be turned on and then started to prevent the parts from rusting and failing to start and burn the motor windings. This maintenance is especially important for water-filled motors.
(7) Make sure the bearing has good lubrication. The water-filled submersible pump should be replaced with the skeleton oil seal and the lithium grease in the upper and lower cap shafts to ensure that the bearings can be well lubricated during operation.
How to use the submersible pump after long-term storage
(1) Check the wearing parts. First remove the water pump and check that the consumable parts such as the impeller, retaining ring, bushing and bearing housing are intact. The good can be used when assembling the electric pump, and the bad ones must be replaced.
